What to Expect When You Visit

"What does a typical service look like?  Will I fit in?  I wonder what I should wear? I don't want to embarrass myself."

Have questions?  We want you to feel welcome and comfortable when you visit.  Let us answer some of the biggies for you.

Have more questions?  We hope you feel free to contact us with those.

Q. What is the Sunday morning worship service like?

Our weekly 10:30am Sunday service features a blended worship experience of older hymns, newer songs, prayer, Scripture readings and a relevant Bible-based message.  Our first time guests are not singled out, but invited to leave their contact information if they choose. The service is usually finished by 11:45am.

Q. What should I wear?

Whatever you feel comfortable in. People who attend Restoration wear everything from business suits to jeans. Feel free to dress as you see fit!

Q. What about my kids?

We love children at Restoration! Children are encouraged to join the congregation during the singing and then are free to join our excellent children's ministry staff downstairs for a kid-oriented lesson. Our nursery staff provides care for children birth through toddlers.

Q. Are you going to ask me for money?

No. Tithing is the giving of 10% of our income to the work of the church. Christians do this out of their love of God and to show obedience and demonstrate their trust in God. Christians believe that we are only giving back what God has already blessed us with. You are welcome to participate during the offering time but you are by no means obligated.
