Children

Davis Memorial believes children need a church, too!  Our excellent Children's Ministries staff provides several fun and safe programs geared for your child to experience friendships with other children while learning the keys for life from God's Word. 

Children's Sunday School (Sundays, 9:30am-10:20am)

Children will learn the basics about our wonderful God who loves us so much.  Our Sunday School Teachers love children and love Jesus.  We offer several age-appropriate groups for children ranging from nursery through sixth grade. 

Children's Church (Sundays, 10:30am-11:45am)

On Sunday mornings our great nursery staff provides care for children birth through toddlers throughout the service.  School aged children (through fifth grade) are encouraged to join the congregation for singing and then are free to join our Children's Church staff downstairs for a kid-oriented lesson.

Children's Quizzing (Wednesdays, 6:30pm-8:00pm)

Children's Quizzing gives the opportunity for children (1st-6th grades) to learn the Bible while having a great time doing it.  Weekly practice prepares the team for periodical invitational competitions with other Nazarene quizzers from southern Indiana.  The quiz consists of multiple choice questions in which quizzers sit with a box of numbered placards and respond to multiple choice questions.  The quiz season lasts through the school year and covers one book of the Bible.  This elective meets during the Kids for Christ time.

Kids For Christ (Wednesdays, 7:00pm-8:00pm)

Kids will love the activities planned just for them each Wednesday night.  All children age 3 - 6th grade are invited.  Preschool and kindergarten meet together for their own time.  Meet in the Children's Department downstairs.

Nursery

Our excellent Nursery staff is available to play with, sing and love children ages birth-3 years old during all the regularly scheduled programs of Sunday as well as Wednesday night.
